  • The inn At Crippen Creek Farm 15 Oatfield Rd. Skamokawa United States (map)

Springtime in the PNW means an abundance of nutritious wild greens growing all around us! Join us at Crippen Creek Farm for a journey with our beloved stinging nettle- one of the most nourishing and healing plants to both humans and soil. In this workshop, Pia will teach us to identify, harvest, and process nettles so we can feel confident enjoying its medicine without getting stung. Although we will also talk about the benefits of a good nettle sting! Together we will explore various extraction methods and recipes for incorporating nettles into our daily self-care routine as both medicine and food. You can expect to take home a variety of nettle remedies and enjoy some of Don’s favorite pizza and pasta recipes using nettles. Pia is a holistic herbalist specializing in nutrition and botanical medicine. Her approach is heart-centered and deeply rooted in The Wise Woman and Vitalists Traditions of healing.
