What an amazing weekend at Crippen Creek Inn! The farm was beautiful, the food was fantastic (had homemade focaccia bread, panna cotta (cooked cream) with fresh berries, pasta Puttanesca Verde, red wine, chocolate croissants, farm fresh eggs!) and the room was better than a hotel. Don  & Kitty have made their home into a haven for weary travelers needing to get out of the city and get into nature. I got to feed the pigs, say Hi to the new cows and pet "Bruce" the dog (best dog ever!). The room was spotless and the bed super comfy. I woke up to sunshine streaming thru large windows and......quiet. Awwww. I slept over 10 hrs the first night I was there! The best part about Crippen Creek besides Don and Kitty is the location! It was a quick drive to Astoria, Cannon Beach (in OR) or Long Beach and Disappointment State Park/Ilwaco (in WA) from the farm. I was there on a holiday weekend and traffic was clear and the farm is located up and away from the highway so no white noise. It was just a perfect weekend and definitely will be going back! Don is an amazing chef and has cooking classes for anyone interested in his Italian secrets. Kitty is a super host who can knit, needlepoint and feed farm animals all in the same fell swoop. Thank you for such a great stay

What a memorable experience to be at a namesake inn! We hardly wanted to go to bed or to leave because the conversation was so fun. And your home is so welcoming and comfortable. Nature is indeed relaxing.

There is a certain internal sensation that occurs when one reaches a special spot. It’s like coming home after a long trip. It’s what happens when we come here. The memories we form each time we come are bountiful & priceless.

Wonderful is the only word that comes to mind— truly wonderful! Wonderful to hear the sounds of nature, moving water, singing birds, gentle, winds. It is a beautiful, very tastefully decorated bed and-breakfast—just ideal!

You are simply the best hosts we’ve had all week! As soon as we arrived, it felt like we were at home with family.
— Katie & Jason, Mt. Airy, MD
Again, how can we thank you adequately for providing us with the scarcest resource for city folk…..silence, and not the ‘quiet’ kind of silence, but rather the ‘silence’ that only arises in presence…the pure desire to be in no other place. The cooking class was astounding. You are true alchemists and we thank you for sharing some of your ancient secrets.
— Paul and Staci, Portland, OR
What a great way to celebrate our 30th anniversary. It proves the fact that you don’t have to travel all over the world to have an adventure.
